Start the Midi Saving the Best for Last

From the Heart of an Angel

When love was young
When our hearts were one
When you first spoke my name
I knew I would never be the same

When I first knew
that you loved me too
Was when I first cried
tears of sadness
inside

For I then knew
Although you loved me too
I could not enter the heart
That another had torn apart

Scattered pieces were strewn
where love had once known
a heart with sincerity and truth
left deserted and alone
with no one of its own

Then I was sent to you
by an angel above
to mend the broken pieces
with the warmth of my love

Open your heart
let the healing begin
let love enter
unto the tenderness within

Then together we will know
a love that is true
As I devote
my heart,
my life,
to loving you.
