Glorious Wonder

The earth stood still today.
Yet the sun shone brightly
in all its wonder
Beautiful, beautiful,
glorious wonder of it all.

Nothing could go asunder.
Nothing could be amiss.
Not today, not on such
a wondrous day as this.

For you said "I love you".
If my heart could only express,
if I could only confess,
the joy you have given me with
this precious gift.

For I have loved you
eternally in silence,
passionately, forever within my being
Now all that seemed for nothing
is everything to me
For your love is everything
I thought it to be

It is the beauty of a flower
once bloomed
It is passion beneath the
light of the moon
It is life that has not been lived
It is the most precious gift
one can give.

The earth stood still today,
if only for we two.
In that one hushed moment,
