As walking gently into the night I am led to you with its flickering light Step by step the path I tread To my love’s awaiting bed. This light that leads to your dear love Symbolizes the flame burning deep within me Never dying, burning on and on Forever yearning for thee. Await my love for I am near My passions deepen as I approach you I feel your sweet whisper in my ear The touch I have longed for At last is here. Its amber flame is gently blown To darken the night around us Yet its flame burns on and on As it kindles the fire within us.
