Start the Midi When I Fall in Love

Mirrors of My Heart

Reflecting on my life
I wonder what I could change?
What could I do?
What could I rearrange?

Perhaps if I were you and you were I,
we could know each other for who we are intended to be
Perhaps we could see our lives together as a reality.

Could I then know what you feel when I confess my love to you?
Could you then feel my sincerity too?
Could I feel the warmth and compassion that you hold so secretly inside?
Could you feel the teardrops from my heart when you do not reply?

Could we then change what is
into what can be?
Could we erase all that has been said
with what our souls can see?

Within these reflections appears
an undying truth.
Time will not subdue my love for you
My heart will not falter
It will not change
I would not ever wish to rearrange

Something so beautiful and heavenly
that it is blessed from above
So sincere and true
that it is an eternal love.

Reflect as I may I know what is
from what may be.
I know I am yours for eternity.
