How High is Your Mountain

Power of Love

High and low,
love and hate,
how not alike but the same they are.

If we had never climbed the mountain,
how are we to know how low the valley?
If we had not suffered the pain of heartache,
how are we to know the wonder of true love?

'Tis safer to hide from the world
in an illusion of contentment,
but then what have we to say of life
other than the safe haven we have endured?

Thus climb the highest mountain
Forge the depths of the sea
Living life
Loving love
Knowing you have endured the worst
Lived for the best
In a life that is meant to be.
