Once I knew of loneliness
amidst a crowded room.
Searching endlessly for my
reason why.
My heart had known of love
yet somehow it wasn’t real.
When alone my soul would cry.
I had yet to find my true
love.
Though loving I had known.
A void was lying in my heart
For the passion had not shown.
‘Tis true I had been loved.
‘Tis true I had cared.
Yet, that something special
was missing.
That only true passionate
lovers share.
Then suddenly I found you.
You set my soul afire.
You made my body yearn for more
with intense desire.
Your voice I longed to hear.
Your touch I ached to feel.
Whether you were near or far
the desire was always real.
Longing hungrily for you.
Your love I did seek,
I did find.
None other would ever do
In my heart or in my mind.
You are my one true love.
Never doubt it.
For it is true.
I want none other
I desire none other.
For I love none than you.
