Teardrops from Heaven |
Teardrops from Heaven softly touch my ashen skin. Mother’s tears from worry for the child she held within. I wish her tender care as I knew in times of when. Her comforting words that calmed me as no other could back then. She knew when the world lay heavy upon my shoulders. She came and comforted me when no one had ever told her, that I needed someone to listen to be there through trouble’s end. She was always much more than a mother She was my dearest friend. Now, I sense her nearness comforting me in Heaven’s arms. Keeping me safe from all of the worldly harms. I know now, as I knew not, when she did depart That she lives eternally in Heaven and forever in my heart. ©Sonji Rush |
