Start Midi If I Fell

YOU

I remember the first time you spoke my name
I had a loss for words I cannot explain.
As though I was a silly child without a clue
I did not know what to say
I was so in awe of you.

You,
you swept me off my feet,
just when I thought life was all it could be.
You,
with that wonderful smile
and that way so sweet,
you turned my perfect world upside down.
All I could think about was you.

Now, this crazy love I feel for you,
it will not let me be.

As I drink my morning coffee,
I see your face in the rising sun.
When I breathe the fragrance of a spring rain,
I wish to share that moment with you.
Then as the sun fades behind the hilltops
and my day is done

All I want is to look into your eyes,
touch your cheek,
and whisper gently,

I love you,
only you
